Abstract
New parallel and serial wave port adaptor configurations, realized using the switched-current technique, are introduced in this paper. The main offered benefit is that the number of the required current inversions in the derived filter configurations is reduced, in comparison to the already published structures. This is achieved without restricting the maximum operation frequency of the filter, as a two-phase clocking scheme is employed. Comparison results for a third-order bandpass wave filter confirm the reduced sensitivity of the proposed configurations in terms of MOS transistors mismatching.
