Abstract
⺠The turbulence characteristics of flows passing through a tetrahedron frame were investigated using a 2-D FLDV. ⺠The tetrahedron frame may reduce the probability of sediment entrainment and induce sediment deposition by retarding the flow and increasing the energy dissipation. ⺠The tetrahedron frames may be used as an effective scour countermeasure.
