Abstract
⺠The bandwidth allocation in IEEE 802.16 OFDMA mode is a variant of packing problem. ⺠The previous methods do not fully comply with the requirements of IEEE 802.16. ⺠We identify the constraints and design issues of the bandwidth allocation algorithm. ⺠Our methods consider the constraints and design issues when allocating bandwidth. ⺠Our methods achieve 1.5-2 times the throughput achieved by the conventional method.
