Matrix transposition and braid reversion

Matrix transposition induces an involution τ on the equivalence classes of semi-simple n-dimensional complex representations of the three string braid group B3. We show that a connected component of this variety can detect braid-reversion or that τ acts as the identity on it. We classify the fixed-point components.
