Abstract
Let kk be a commutative ring. Let R,BR,B be kk-algebras with BB commutative. Let p:R→Bp:R→B be a homogeneous multiplicative polynomial law of degree nn. We show that pp is obtained by left and right composing a determinant with some homomorphisms of kk-algebras.
