Abstract
Let Mn be the space of nÃn complex matrices, and for a nonzero vector eâCn and TâMn, let ÏT(e) denote the local spectrum of T at e. Maps Ï on Mn which preserve the local spectrum of Jordan triple product of matrices at e in a sense thatÏÏ(T)Ï(S)Ï(T)(e)=ÏTST(e),(T,SâMn) are characterized, with no surjectivity assumption on them.
