Abstract
The asymptotic behavior of the solutions to a neutral difference equation of the formÎmx(n)+q(n)x(Ï(n))+p(n)x(Ï(n))=0,mâN,n⩾0,where Ï(n) is a general retarded argument, Ï(n) is a general deviated argument, p(n)n⩾0 and q(n)n⩾0 are sequences of real numbers, Î denotes the forward difference operator Îx(n)=x(n+1)-x(n), and Îj denotes the jth forward difference operator Îjx(n)=ÎÎj-1x(n) for j=2,3,â¦,m, is studied. Examples illustrating the results are also given.
