On a symmetric system of max-type difference equations

We study behavior of positive solutions of the following max-type system of difference equationsxn+1=maxc,ynpxn-1p,yn+1=maxc,xnpyn-1p,n∈N0,where p,c∈(0,∞)p,c∈(0,∞), extending some results in the literature. Among other results, we prove that if p,c∈(0,1)p,c∈(0,1), then every positive solution of the system converges to (1,1)(1,1).
