Abstract
Philos-type oscillation criteria are established for the Emden–Fowler neutral delay differential equation[|x′(t)|γ-1x′(t)]′+q1(t)|y(t-σ)|α-1y(t-σ)+q2(t)|y(t-σ)|β-1y(t-σ)=0,t⩾t0,where x(t)=y(t)+p(t)y(t-τ)x(t)=y(t)+p(t)y(t-τ). The results obtained here essentially improve some known results in the literature. In particular, two interesting examples that point out the importance of our results are also included.
