Abstract
This article examines the legal model established in Denmark to tackle the problem of spam. It notes that while the domestic spammer can, to a large extent, be controlled, the overseas spammer is much harder to deal with. The way forward is for all jurisdictions to develop robust regulatory provision to tackle the problem, and for the relevant authorities to work together. Technological solutions will also have a role to play.
