Abstract
Model eigenproblem results obtained by some hp-adaptive FEM are presented. The FEM is based on the Texas 3-step strategy and the equilibrated residual method. The focus is on numerical experiments. The practical issues related to the above mentioned techniques are raised. The potentials of the method for engineering applications are demonstrated.
