Abstract
A mathematical model for a simply supported dual-duct rectangular plate is established. By means of the stepped variable thickness rectangular plate approximation theory, its solution under moving loading is obtained and the influences of the width and the position of the ducts as well as the thickness of the plate on the load-carrying capacity are discussed. Comparison with the experimental results shows that the analysis method in this paper is reasonable and reliable.
