Abstract
The problem of reflection of P-wave and SV-wave on the boundary of a half-space of homogeneous, isotropic generalized thermoelastic medium have been investigated when the boundary is stress-free as well as insulated or isothermal. Green–Nagdhi theory of generalized thermoelasticity has been applied to determine the amplitude ratios of the various cases that arise in the situation. Finally, analysis of the results are made with graphical representations.
