Abstract

For singular Hamiltonian systems in the limit point case, this paper characterizes the number of eigenvalues of self-adjoint extensions below the lower bound of the minimal operator in terms of corresponding self-adjoint boundary conditions and the M(λ)M(λ) matrix for the Friedrichs extension.
