Abstract
A new species of Dicranoptycha from Burmese amber (lowermost Cenomanian, Upper Cretaceous) is described, Dicranoptycha burmitica sp. nov. The morphology comparison with their closest recent and fossil relatives is provided. The distribution of fossil representatives of Dicranoptycha is presented and their morphological traits discussed.
