Abstract
Developers of research information systems recently recognized new ambition goals: collecting, processing and making publicly available the data on how scientists use research data to produce a new scientific knowledge. The CRIS approach and CERIF data model can be very useful to respond on this challenge. In the paper we discuss appropriate use cases, necessary function ality and requirements for CRIS-CERIF systems.
