Abstract
The specification and simulation of a complex multiagent system needs an abstract representation that is powerful enough to describe a solved problem and sufficiently abstract to understand and illustrate its behavior. Complementary graphs concept enables the distribution of a graph representation of a system knowledge and allows its independent modifications by agents, in such a way that this representation remains consistent. A problem representation from the centralized and distributed point of view makes the partial graphs the useful tool for a multiagent system designer. It also creates an environment capable of verifying the features of multiagent systems (represented by graph metrics) by simulation of a multiagent system behavior.
