Abstract
In this work a greenhouse (GH) sustainability management tool for continuous monitoring, self-evaluation and improvement of sustainable production procedures, in GHs was developed. Major goal was the inclusion of all parameters related to the enhancement of operators’ safety and wastewater management in GHs. Specifically seven modules relevant to plant protection products in the GH environment were established. The latter was achieved after auditing a series of GHs and pertinent literature research. Decisive step was the establishment of accurate scoring process linked to the software tool that finds application in GH scenarios and is useful for GH personnel and other stakeholders.
