Abstract
In the following paper the dynamic behavior of an indirect regulator is investigated and by means of Bondgraph method a nonlinear mathematical model for the considered regulator is developed. In this model to represent variable truncated cone orifice, a novel scheme has been proposed. Various operating conditions, including various inlet pressures are dynamically simulated while developing the model. Additionally, dynamic sensitivity of the valve is taken into account with respect to some geometrical parameters. Finally, the obtained simulation results are compared with experimental data demonstrating desirable accuracy of the proposed method.
