Abstract
In this paper, several high-resolution range profile (HRRP) recognition approaches in radar sensor network (RSN) are investigated. First, we study HRRP target recognition in a radar. A decision rule based on the minimum resistor-average (MRA) distance criterion is established for HRRP sequence recognition. Simulation results show that comparing with the maximum correlation coefficient-template matching method (MCC-TMM) and the minimum Kullback-Leibler (MKL) distance criterion, the proposed MRA distance criterion can provide higher recognition ratio for different flight targets. Then we extend the usage the MKL distance criterion and MRA distance criterion to HRRP target recognition in RSNs. Simulation results exhibit that the proposed MRA distance criterion is also superior to MCC-TMM and MKL, and HRRP recognition performance can be improved by RSNs.
