Abstract
- A new technique (3ST) for chaos detection in discrete map is defined.
- The detection of periods of stable cycles is automated, thus improving the interpretation of the bifurcation diagram.
- The test can be implemented in real-time.
- The test is easily realizable and computationally low cost.
- 3ST allows clear discernment of periodic, quasi-periodic and chaotic behaviors.
