Multiphase injector modelling for automotive SCR systems: A full factorial design of experiment and optimization

It was found that the injection parameters had an impact on the final results of the ammonia uniformity index (NH3UI) and wall film formation on the SCR system. The method applied in this work successfully predicted the performance of an SCR system. Moreover, a series of response surfaces were created based on a linear regression model which allowed for further design optimization outside of the initial experimental space.
