Abstract
⺠Presentation of an dataset of high-torque milling operation obtained under industrial condition. ⺠Presentation of a hybrid algorithm that combines a genetic algorithm with a ANN architecture. ⺠Presentation of tests of the algorithm with real data to investigate the influence of data sets size. ⺠It clarifies why roughness modelling bibliography reports different sets of relevant parameters.
