Abstract
► Autonomously calibrating embedded sensors is a major research problem. ► Iterative calibration is used in wireless sensor networks to perform autonomous calibration. ► During calibration, both the calibration cost and the calibration error should be minimized, which we call MBCT problem. ► Due to random measurement errors, MBCT is an NP-complete problem. ► Genetic algorithm based heuristic solution to the MBCT problem is presented.
