Abstract
This article describes a method of multi-criteria optimization of a synchronous motor with permanent magnets designs across multiple objective functions subject to the limitations on the size and characteristics of construction materials. For calculating the electromagnetic field using a finite element method, and genetic algorithm as used NSGA-II, implemented on the base of MATLAB.
