Abstract
⺠The paper addresses the ranking inconsistency problem of fuzzy group MCDM. ⺠18 methods are developed as an illustration to solve the general fuzzy group MCDM problem. ⺠A new approach is developed to select the MCDM method that best reflects the decision makers' preferences. ⺠An empirical study on the green bus fuel technology selection problem is conducted. ⺠The approach is applicable to large-scale multicriteria group decision problems with inconsistent ranking outcomes.
