Abstract
In this paper we analyze neurobiologically inspired approaches to implement emotions in computational systems. We propose the criteria for realistic cognitive architectures and analyze current architectures using aforementioned criteria. The analysis indicated several interesting architectures H-CogAff, BICA that inspired us to start the development of our own based on biological realistic approaches.
