Abstract
The effectiveness of programs for automated recognition of diseases of the digestive tract by the images recorded by a wireless endoscopic capsule depends on the quality of images obtained from it. Therefore, this article discusses the algorithm, which allows to recover the loss of image data from the part of the code that encodes the image itself, not the loss of metadata (supplementary information at the beginning of the entire code of the image). It allows reconstructing the images with shifted blocks by returning them to their original location and restoring their original color. The algorithm was tested on 159 damaged images and the experiment has restored about 90% of distorted frames.
