An equivalent stress-gradient regularization model for coupled damage-viscoelasticity

Mesh-insensitive behavior under creep, relaxation and strain rate conditions is demonstrated for one and two dimensional problems. Moreover, for different viscoelastic materials with different dominant damage terms, the proposed model is shown to provide consistent damage growth results.
