Abstract
⺠Some connectivity based cluster validity indices are developed. ⺠A measure of connectivity is defined using relative neighborhood graph concept. ⺠The new connectivity based distance is incorporated in the definitions of seven cluster validity indices. ⺠Experimental results are shown on eight artificially generated and three real-life data sets. ⺠Connectivity based Dunn-index performs the best.
