Abstract
The outage probability (OP) performance of mobile device-to-device (D2D) cooperative networks with incremental amplify-and-forward (IAF) relaying and transmit antenna selection (TAS) is investigated in this paper. The exact closed-form OP expressions are derived for two TAS schemes. Based on the derived closed-form OP expressions, a power allocation minimization problem is formulated. Then through Monte Carlo simulations under different conditions, we have verified the accuracy of the derived OP expressions. The simulation results showed that the power allocation parameter has an important influence on the OP performance.
