Abstract
⺠This paper has proposed a new LPV based sliding mode observer scheme for fault reconstruction. ⺠The virtual actuator fault reconstructions are based on the 'equivalent output error injection signals' of the observer. ⺠For sensor faults, the observer design has involved re-formulating the problem into an actuator fault reconstruction framework. ⺠This allows the LPV observer synthesis approach for the actuator faults to be applied directly.
