Abstract
•Solvent exchange technique of colloidal fullerene synthesis is further explored.•Solvent exchange of DMF-C60 is stable in PBS and water, while the THF-C60 is only stable in water.•Solvent exchange of THF results in partial oxidation and degradation of C60.•DMF evaporative method results in greater oxidation and degradation of C60.
