Abstract
Paraffin deposits in oil wells reduce oil production. Paraffin deposits from an oil well can be removed by thermal method using a heating cable. Due to the fact that the oil well is characterized by the number of geothermal energy and oil production, the individual approach to calculating the heating current is required: current must be sufficient to remove the paraffin, but the temperature should not exceed the operating temperature of the cable insulation. The automatic control system for removal of paraffin deposits in oil wells that allowed to predict the optimal value of the current in a heating cable and the minimum time of its work to remove deposits was proposed. This allows us to save energy.
