Abstract
The paper presents a generalization of Arnold–Falk–Winther elements to meshes with elements of variable order. The formulation is straightforward but the stability analysis involves a non-trivial modification of interpolation operators. The analysis addresses only h-convergence but the presented numerical results indicate p-convergence as well.
