Abstract

•This paper has presented improved delay-dependent stability criteria for neutral type neural networks with distributed delays.•The results are represented in terms of LMIs, which are easy to be verified by convex optimization techniques.•The proposed criteria are computationally attractive, and it provides less conservative results than the existing results.•Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

This paper deals with the problem of improved delay-dependent stability analysis of neutral type neural networks with distributed delays. These conditions are in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI), easily checked by recently developed algorithms in solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, numerical examples demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed method.
