Abstract
⺠A new cascade control structure is proposed for a class of integrating processes. ⺠The controllers are designed based on optimal performance index and complementary sensitivity function. ⺠The controller gives robust performances against parameter uncertainties. ⺠Kharitonov's theorem is used for the robustness analysis. ⺠Simulation results demonstrate that with less number of controllers improved performance can be achieved.
