Abstract
► VARX models are proposed for designing robust MVC for linear and nonlinear systems. ► Discrete slide mode controller designing approach is used in designing MVC and GMVC. ► The proposed method is tested on a nonlinear experimental Four-Tank benchmark process. ► The proposed method is compared with nonlinear MVC designed using neural network.
