Abstract
⺠We analyse the causal impact of broadband Internet on firm performance. ⺠Identification relies on information on DSL availability at the postal code level. ⺠We find no impact of firms' broadband usage on their labour productivity. ⺠Broadband has positive and significant effects on firms' innovation performance.
