Abstract

This paper presents a second-order and two-scale computation method of initial-boundary value problem for heat conduction equation with rapidly oscillating coefficients. This method can be applied to heat conduction analysis of composite materials. The main advantages of this method are that it can greatly save computer memory and CPU time, and it possesses good precision at the same time. Finally numerical results show that the presented method is effective and reliable.
