Abstract
Chemically Stable proton conducting BaZr(0.5)8/9Ce(0.4)8/9Y0.2O3−δ has been developed as a promising proton conducting electrolytes for intermediate temperature. BaZr(0.5)8/9Ce(0.4)8/9Y0.2O3−δ retained a high proton conductivity of 1.44 × 10−2 S cm−1 in wet 1% H2 at 600 °C as well as sufficient chemical stability under 80% steam for 200 h.196
