Abstract
The electron-pair donating atoms and high viscosity solution prevent the metal particles from agglomeration via a strong steric hindrance, which decreases the mobility of the nanoclusters by weakening Brownian motion. However, the precursors, in the low viscosity solvent, are facile to move randomly, leading to the aggregation of nanoclusters. Therefore, the Ni/SBA-15 (AM) catalysts prepared by add high viscosity solution display high dispersion with small Ni particles.352
