Abstract
A series of RGO/ZnIn2S4 photocatalysts were successfully synthesized using ZnIn2S4 with different graphene oxide (GO) sources (GO-S, GO-O, GO-V) and characterized by various analysis techniques, such as UV-Vis, XRD, SEM, BET, Raman and PL. It was found that the properties of these photocatalysts greatly depended on the GO source and amount. The photocatalytic H2 evolution activities of these catalysts have also been evaluated under visible-light irradiation. When the GO source was GO-S and the GO amount was 0.1 wt%, the activity reached 1210 μmol gâ1 hâ1 and the apparent quantum yield (420 nm) determined to be 17.49%. On the basis of the characterization of the catalysts, the effect of the preparation method of (RGO)/ZnIn2S4 on the photocatalytic activity of RGO/ZnIn2S4 was discussed in detail.
