Abstract
The binuclear copper(II) complexes of three novel bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononane) ligands, featuring a bridging guanidinium group between two macrocyclic units, greatly accelerate the cleavage of phosphodiesters commonly used in studies of synthetic phosphatase mimics.
