Synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial activity of Schiff base Ce(III) complexes

Green protocol for synthesis of biologically potent (N^S) donor Schiff bases and their Ce(III) complexes. All the compounds were tested extensively against 5 species of microorganisms belonging to Gram +ve, −ve bacteria and fungus (including yeast). Ligand is less potent for biological activities than Ce(III) metal complexes.
