Abstract
The Six complexes show that the two types of crystal structures may be due to the effect of the lanthanide contraction. Six complexes are all assembled into the 1D, 2D, 3D supramolecular structures by CHâ¯O hydrogen bonding and Ï-Ï stacking interactions. The photoluminescence investigation reveals that complexes 2 and 4 display strong characteristic emission of Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions, which indicates that the corresponding complexes can be applied to the research of optical materials. Moreover, the title complexes have good antibacterial activities against Candida albicans.184
