Abstract
The resonance Rayleigh scattering (RRS) of L-Tryptophan (L-Try), Pd(II) and L-Try-Pd(II) system was very weak, respectively. But, when malathion (Mala) was introduced into L-Try-Pd(II) system, the RRS intensity was enhanced significantly. And the RRS enhancement of L-Try-Pd(II)-Mala system was directly proportional to the malathion concentration within a certain range. The illustration showed that the RRS of L-Try-Pd(II) system could be significantly enhanced by Mala, but others had no effect obviously. Therefore, a convenient method for determination of malathion could be developed based on RRS enhancement. And the new analytical method exhibited a good selectivity for detecting malathion (insert).144
