Abstract
Effect of pH on the stability of curcumin entrapped in organically modified silica NP (SiNP) having 3-amino propyl and/or vinyl groups, liposome and serum protein has been studied spectroscopically with pH varying from 5 to 8.5. The study indicate that stability of curcumin depends on pH, the carrier type and functionalization and suggests that amine functionalized SiNP might be an effective carrier of curcumin for imaging and drug delivery at physiological pH and below.107
