Abstract
The full length 663Â bp coding sequence of tree shrew CD28 was determined accurately. Our study showed that the whole sequence and structure of tree shrew CD28 was similar to human CD28, especially those that form dithioesters and glycosylation sites are highly conserved and are presumed to have corresponding important functions, and these partly charge distribution differences will help us to further study the structure and function of tree shrew CD28 and utilize tree shrew as an effective animal model of human disease.182
