New nano-complexes of Zn(II), Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) ions; spectroscopy, thermal, structural analysis, DFT calculations and antimicrobial activity application

Novel thiophene-2-carbaldehyde nano-complexes of Zn(II) (1), Cu(II) (2), Ni(II) (3), and Co(II) (4) were successfully prepared in nano-scale domain. The antimicrobial results and DFT calculations confirm that the prepared Zn(II) nano-complex (1) are a promising nano-material for antibacterial application.116
